Had just finished my 20th client for the week and this restaurant was just the tonic.

Another great eating place in Whangarei - Tonic Restaurant – superb food, delicious and tasty, served piping hot. The shin beef was melt in the mouth, served on bed of spinach and a mountain of creamy potato, would have preferred the servings around the other way. But the meal was a winner, and the staff friendly and did not make you feel like a freak eating on your own.
Tonic Restaurant at 239A Kamo Rd in the Whau Valley Rd group of shops on the main highway, easy to find and well worth it.
